Europe

We were told to choose an european city in order to make a petxakutxa explaining a bit about the city and planning a trip on it. Jon and I chose Berlin, the capital of Germany because we thought it is a very historical city and a very beatiful one, it has many interesting stuff and here you can see the presentation we made.

Jhose and I have been asked to prepare a trip to an european city and explain it to the rest of the class. We chose to plann it to go to Berlin, which we think is a very interesting and wonderfull city to visit and wasn´t too expensive.

We started talking about the history of it, so we couldn,t forgot to speak about the nazis dictatorship and the holocaust, which we thought were the main historical facts of Germany, and then we talked about the 1936 Berlin Olympics, those which were famous because of the athlete called Jease Owens, who won 4 gold medals and was treated badly because of his skin colour.

To start with the trip we explained how to go there, where to sleep , and how to transport in Berlin, explaining different aspects of each one, and some dishes and drinks you have to taste.

We continued pointing some places you must visit in case you go there such as the Schasenhaussen Concentration Camp, which is nowadays a museum, the Berlin Wall, or a museum to go to. We added to our trip a tour in the river and a visit to the Olympic Stadium, where the Hertha of Berlin plays.

To finish with it we said the price it would cost, between 500-600$, and explained it is a very good oportunity to visit the city and know a bit more about Germany.

Political Marketing

This is the poster Ciudadanos used for the general elections and there we can see Albert Rivera, the president of the political party, in the middle of the poster with their slogan written in a big white font. In the background we can see spanish flags and orange flags , respresenting the colours of the party. With their slogan I think they wanted to call the people to vote in the elections, to vote them. Saying "¡Vamos!" like COME ON! in order to motivate the people to vote them, personally I thing it is a simple design but with a clear message.

In this poster we can see the face of Pedro Sanchez, the president of the party, in black and white next to their slogan, "Haz que pase" written in red, the colour of the party. "Haz que pase" would mean "Make it happen" soi he basically wants to transmit people that the changes can be made if they vote PSOE to get the Spain they all want. It is a simple design but with a strong message that gets stronger with the direct look of Pedro Sanchez.

This is the PP poster which has Pablo Casado, the leader of the party, smiling with "Valor seguro" written in a blue font above him. What they probably wanted to transmit with this poster is that their party has somehow a value, a true value that people has to vote. It is another simple design, simpler than the previus ones, and thats why and don't really like it.
