Fake News

Fake news are all around the internet and we receive them every day, this is an example of one of them:

Just when you think that President Donald Trump can’t get worse, he proves you wrong,
Recently he said that he didn’t believe the official death toll from Hurricane Maria which hit Puerto Rico. The death toll has been recorded at about 3,000 people. However, Trump has declared his government’s relief mission was a resounding success and only about 18 people died.
Trump supporters also back the president. According to an Occidental Public Polling survey, 70 percent of Trump supporters believe the media inflated the death toll to make the president looked bad.
“The liberal media hates Trump and will do anything to make the president look bad,” said Don Callen, a Trump supporter from Tampa, Fla. “I reckon the media faked the numbers.”

This fake new was made to make people hate Donal Trump as you can see. People makes this kind of fake news probably to make a bad opinion about certain politician.

European day of Languages

The European day of Languages is going to be celebrated the 26th of September and we've been thinking about planning some activities for this special day.

WHAT IS THIS DAY ABOUT?
The first european day of Languages was on 2001, due to its success The European Union decided to celebrate it each 26th of September. On this day people of many countries take part on some activities which promote language diversity and learning.

WHAT IS THIS DAY FOR ?

The general objectives of this day are basicly alerting the public about the importance of language learning, promoting the rich linguistic and cultural language diversity and encouraging lifelong language learning in and out of school.

This year we are in charge of organising a couple of activities to celebrate this  day.

First we are going to make a video about some students ,who know different languages, saying some words in some of them. We are going to be looking this people in different class rooms of our school.

As second activity, we are going gather some students of different  ages and make them doing a quizz about different languages of Europe and also we will be asking them about different cultures to promote the diversity.
