Our project for the challenge

1. Detail your idea: To make a new Krissia mascot and also making a new product made with Krissia, Fried Krissia sticks.
2. Two virtues: Attractive for children and a new tasty way to eat krissia
3. Two problems and your response: Young people don't eat krissia so we make a mascot in order to make them like the product and also by adding a new way to eat it so they might like the new way.
4. How to make it real? What do you need to make it possible. An attractive design for a mascot
5. Which points of the challenge do you address with your proposition. By using our idea young people would eat more Krissia because they usually prefer fried things , also children would like the product because the mascot.
6. Which technical help do you need. A good designer for the mascot
7. Why is your project the best possible? We think our ideas are the best because there isn't a better way to make children like a product than using images or drawing such as a mascot and also because the new innovative way to eat krissia would be an interesting choice for everyone, adults and children, because it is also easy and fast to prepare.

2nd TERM :Krissia challenge introduction AND our work

At this second term, we have been challenged by Angulas Aginaga about thinking of ideas that could improve Krissia product, we think it is an interesting challenge even if at first we were a bit confused about it. The challenge was also promoted by Fomento San Sebastian and it consists on thinking ways to make children eat more Krissia in salads or to make them eat krissia in a different way. We will be having some lessons with Fomento so they can help us developing our ideas, finally we will have to present our project to Angulas Aginaga in December.

After we have been thinking about some ideas ,we finally decided our idea that will be presented to the company. In order to present it we will be using some tools that we have been taught like "canvas" and "swot":
This would be the logo we designed:

Ansel Adams presentation

Here we have the presentation Aiert and I made about a famous photographer such as Ansel Adams.

Aiert and I thought that we could choose Ansel Adams because the type of photography he used appealed a lot to us. We also thought we could have taken some photos like he's ones in the past too.
It was excellent working on this project because we both learnt about photography and we took great photos. At first we told about his biography: it was very interesting and after that we both talked about his and our photos. The photo I will choose to describe now is this one:

This photo was taken in a park near Antiguo, about this photo, we can see a tree branch in the foreground so it brings our attention on it, even if the branch is the main stuff, the background is also focused which means that the photo has a big depth of field, one of Adam's photos characteristiscs.
The branch would also work as a frame that aims 3 different directions. Another characteristics of Adam's photos on this picture would be that is a nature photography, Adams photos were mostly taken in natural reserves or parks because he wanted to make people take notice of how beatiful nature is and he was also environmentalist. Finally as you can see the photo has a black and white filter because Adam's time cameras could not take photos in colour.

Tips for photography

We've watched some videos that gave us many different tips in order to make good photos some of the tips were this ones :
- rule of third
- check the background
- get close
- framing
- leadind lines
- rule of odds
- panning

And here there are some examples:

                           Framing

Getting close

Rule of the odds

Basic photography

We have been seeing some videos about basic photography concepts and here there are some pictures showing the "Depth of Field" and "shutter speed" concepts:

As you can see, here the camera allowed me to focus on my hand instead of focusing on both the hand and the trees behind. This would be an example of depth of field concept.

Here the hand appears blured because the mobile phone camera shutter speed, in fact, the hand was moving so my mobile phone camera couldn't take a properly picture. The are cameras which have a high shutter speed so even if the hand was moving, the camera would take it focused.

Lettering

Lettering is the art of writing with different types of letter designs. It is quite useful in order to attract people so it is often used for marketing, in fact many companies have their own typography which are known around the world. Coca-cola for example:
Famous companies use special typography so whenever people see their logo or similar letters they will instantly recognize them.

Here there are 3 examples I have chosen and photographed:

Resultado de imagen de carhartt segunda mano
I took this picture to Carhartt logo because it is a mark I like and its lettering is very characterisctic.
Resultado de imagen de ipad segunda mano
I chose apple because its logo is very well known around the world and i actually like it.

I took this picture from Acer because its lettering design is quite simple but elegant.

We have been working on writing the word welcome in different languages, each one with a different type of lettering:

Fake News

Fake news are all around the internet and we receive them every day, this is an example of one of them:

Just when you think that President Donald Trump can’t get worse, he proves you wrong,
Recently he said that he didn’t believe the official death toll from Hurricane Maria which hit Puerto Rico. The death toll has been recorded at about 3,000 people. However, Trump has declared his government’s relief mission was a resounding success and only about 18 people died.
Trump supporters also back the president. According to an Occidental Public Polling survey, 70 percent of Trump supporters believe the media inflated the death toll to make the president looked bad.
“The liberal media hates Trump and will do anything to make the president look bad,” said Don Callen, a Trump supporter from Tampa, Fla. “I reckon the media faked the numbers.”

This fake new was made to make people hate Donal Trump as you can see. People makes this kind of fake news probably to make a bad opinion about certain politician.

European day of Languages

The European day of Languages is going to be celebrated the 26th of September and we've been thinking about planning some activities for this special day.

WHAT IS THIS DAY ABOUT?
The first european day of Languages was on 2001, due to its success The European Union decided to celebrate it each 26th of September. On this day people of many countries take part on some activities which promote language diversity and learning.

WHAT IS THIS DAY FOR ?

The general objectives of this day are basicly alerting the public about the importance of language learning, promoting the rich linguistic and cultural language diversity and encouraging lifelong language learning in and out of school.

This year we are in charge of organising a couple of activities to celebrate this  day.

First we are going to make a video about some students ,who know different languages, saying some words in some of them. We are going to be looking this people in different class rooms of our school.

As second activity, we are going gather some students of different  ages and make them doing a quizz about different languages of Europe and also we will be asking them about different cultures to promote the diversity.
